Privacy Policy

Last updated: [INSERT EFFECTIVE DATE]

Before you publish: this is a working template, not legal advice. Confirm every statement reflects what Intelify actually does with data, replace each [BRACKETED] placeholder, and — given you process Meta/Instagram data — have it reviewed by a qualified professional. An inaccurate policy is the most common reason Meta app reviews fail.

1. Who we are

Intelify (“Intelify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an AI workflow automation and go-to-market engineering studio based in Lahore, Pakistan. We provide automation, data, and outreach services to our own ventures and to clients. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website and services, and when we process data through third-party platforms such as Meta and Instagram.

Operator: [LEGAL / REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME, if any — otherwise “Intelify”]
Location: Lahore, Pakistan
Contact: hello@intelify.ai

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our website at intelify.ai;
  • People and businesses who contact us or engage our services;
  • Data we access or process through connected platforms (including the Meta and Instagram platforms) when an account owner authorizes us to do so.

When we process data on behalf of a client (for example, running a workflow inside the client's own accounts), the client is the controller of that data and we act as a service provider. This policy describes our own practices; the client's own privacy policy governs their relationship with their customers.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information you give us

  • Contact details you send us — name, email address, company, and the contents of your message — when you email us or reach out about a project.
  • Information you provide while we deliver a service, such as account access you authorize, project requirements, and business data relevant to the work.

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical data when you visit the website — IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and referring page — collected by our hosting provider and any analytics we use. [CONFIRM whether you use analytics; remove if you do not.]

3.3 Information from connected platforms

  • When you or a client connects an account (for example, an Instagram professional account via Meta) and grants permission, we access only the data covered by the permissions granted. See the Meta & Instagram data section for specifics.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and provide the services you or a client engage us for;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve our website and workflows;
  • Communicate with you about a project, including updates and support;
  • Meet legal, accounting, and security obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use platform data for advertising profiling. We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so — your consent, the performance of a contract, or our legitimate business interests.

5. Meta & Instagram data

Where our services involve a Meta or Instagram professional account, we access that account's data only through Meta's official APIs and only after the account owner grants permission through Meta's standard authorization flow. We comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

5.1 What we access

[REVIEW — list ONLY what your app actually accesses, and make sure it matches your Meta app-review submission. Edit the example below to the truth.] For connected, authorized accounts we may access:

  • Account profile and page details for the connected professional account;
  • Media and content published by the connected account;
  • Engagement and insights metrics for that account's own content;
  • Comments on the connected account's own content, where authorized.

5.2 What we do not do

  • We do not access accounts that have not authorized us;
  • We do not collect data on individuals who have not interacted with a connected account;
  • We do not sell, rent, or transfer Meta/Instagram data to data brokers or for advertising;
  • We do not use the data for any purpose other than providing the service the account owner authorized.

5.3 Why we access it

[REVIEW — state the single, specific reason that matches your use case, e.g. “to provide content insights and reporting to the account owner,” or “to help the account owner manage and respond to comments on their own posts.” This must match what you tell Meta.]

5.4 Storage and removal of platform data

We retain authorized platform data only as long as needed to provide the service, and we delete or de-identify it when the account is disconnected, when the engagement ends, or on request. To revoke our access at any time, remove Intelify from the connected account's settings within Meta/Instagram (Settings → Apps and Websites / Business Integrations), and contact us to confirm deletion.

6. How we share information

We share information only with:

  • Service providers (sub-processors) that help us operate — for example, hosting, email, enrichment, and automation tools. [REVIEW — keep a current list of the tools that actually touch personal data.] These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Clients, where we process data on their behalf as part of a service.
  • Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We never sell personal information.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, to provide our services, and to meet legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Platform data is handled as described in section 5.4.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information — including restricted access, encrypted connections, and limiting data collection to what we need. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep risks low and to respond quickly if an issue arises.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@intelify.ai and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

10. Data deletion

You can ask us to delete your personal information, including any data accessed through a connected Meta/Instagram account, at any time. Full instructions are on our Data Deletion page, or simply email hello@intelify.ai with the request.

11. Cookies & analytics

Our website uses only the cookies needed to function and, if enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic. [REVIEW — name your analytics tool if you use one, or state “we do not use analytics or advertising cookies” if that's accurate.] You can control cookies through your browser settings.

12. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. International transfers

We operate from Pakistan and work with clients and providers internationally. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We'll revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.

15. Contact
